Meet Dr. Briones

As a board-certified internal medicine physician and medical weight loss specialist, Maria Briones, MD, is familiar with the problems that you face because of your weight. She has helped hundreds of overweight people living in or around Mt. Kisco, Greenwich, and Westchester, New York, gain control of their weight, health, and lives at Briones Weight Loss Center.

Many of the people that come to our weight loss center have made repeated unsuccessful attempts at weight loss. Dr. Briones understands the frustration that you feel and can help you achieve a healthy weight and maintain it.

Dr. Briones started her educational pursuits at the Autonomous National University of Nicaragua. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the Autonomous School of Central America in San Jose, Costa Rica. Dr. Briones then relocated to the United States, where she completed her internal medicine internship at Mount Vernon Hospital and her residency at Long Island College Hospital.
